Upcoming United Soccer Clubs Annual Member Meeting (AMM)

May 21, 2024

We are pleased to announce the upcoming United Soccer Clubs Annual Member Meeting (AMM). Aug 8th – 8:30, but we strongly encourage all member clubs to participate in this important event.

The Agenda and Schedule of Events will be sent out and posted on the USC website as soon as they are finalized. Some of the key items that will be discussed during the meeting include:

  • Player / Coach Registration
  • League Play Formats
  • Cup Competitions
  • Discipline & Card Tracking
  • Scheduling & Rescheduling Procedures
  • Election Results of Board Directors
  • By-Law / Rule Change Votes

Five (5) USC Board positions are up for election this year:

  • Director #1 East (currently held by Pat O’Toole)
  • Director #2 East (Vacant)
  • Director #3 East (currently held by Eldin Sijercic)
  • Director #5 East (currently held by Olivier Finidori)
  • Director #7 West (currently held by Stephen Ferguson)

If you would like to submit a candidate to be put on the ballot, please note that each member club may submit one candidate. We encourage you to take this opportunity to nominate a deserving individual from your club. Please submit your candidate’s details by July 22, 2024.

To ensure that your association is in good standing, please make sure that all fees due from the 2023-2024 seasonal year have been paid prior to the meeting. Per the USC Bylaws, Article IV, Section 6, only member clubs who are in good standing and have a minimum of 10 teams registered with the league during the 2023-2024 seasonal year are eligible to vote at the AMM. Team counts will be based on the number of teams each club had registered with USC during the 2023-2024 seasonal year. Each eligible club has one vote, cast by the Director of Coaching of each member club or their designee as authorized by written proxy and presented via e-mail prior to voting.

The election will take place by email, and the announcement of the new board members will occur during the AMM.

If you would like to request an item be added to the agenda or submit a nomination, please send the request to Lupe@USCTEXAS.org.

It is strongly recommended that each member club read and familiarize themselves with the USC Bylaws prior to the meeting. A copy of the Bylaws can be found under resources on our website.

Thank you for your attention to these important matters. We look forward to your active participation.
