United Soccer Clubs 2020-2021 Play-Offs
The 2020-2021 USC PLAY-OFFS is a round-robin competition consisting of a National and Regional Flight made up of 4 boy and girl teams each in the U13 (2008) through U18/19 (2002/2003) age groups. The event will be held May 15 – 16, 2021 in Houston.
This is a restricted event open only to USC Member Clubs in “Good Standing” that have teams registered with USC which have played in the 2020-21 USC Champions League, USC ECNL Regional League, or the USC Eastern or Western Conference competitions.
TEAM ACCEPTANCE
We will begin formally accepting teams shortly. Teams will be accepted in the order received and placed into the National or Regional Cup Flight based on their end of the season League standing.
All the girl teams that registered will be accepted into the Event.
Most of the boy teams that registered will be accepted. USC Champions League boy teams that finish 1st in League play and qualify for the US Club Soccer Boys NPL National Playoffs are ineligible to participate in the 2020-2021 USC Play-Offs. As such, team acceptance and flights cannot be confirmed until the season is completed, and the standings are finalized. There are a couple of age groups where more teams registered that can be accepted. Teams that are not accepted will be notified once the Flights are finalized.
Teams that have qualified for a US Club Soccer post-season Competition or accepted into the USC Play-Offs are required to play in the competition and flight for which they qualified and any additional US Club Soccer post-season competition they may advance to.
The registration fee for teams that are not accepted will be refunded. The registration fee for teams that are accepted and then opt to not play will not be refunded.
In the event a team is declared ineligible to participate in the USC PLAY-OFFS, their position will be taken by the next qualified team from another Club.
